Essex 20 mile team race 2020

Congratulations to the Cambs team who competed at the Essex 20 on March 1.
The men placed seventh and the women fifth.

2020 Cambs Road League and county champs fixtures

Unfortunately, the Road league program for 2020 has been severely affected by Covid 19. Athletes should be aware that at this stage, the Road Race League standings will be based on those races that are able to to be completed by the end of the season, unless too many races are cancelled.

Cambs Road League checking
We’d like to ask all clubs if they could ask for one volunteer to check their club’s CRL scores after each fixture update, please. This is so that any errors are minimised as soon as possible.

Cambs AA Road league team Rules
Open to first-claim members of clubs affiliated to Cambridgeshire AA.
Runners must represent their first claim club
Best individual results from four out of the seven races to count.
Overall points are awarded to the first 30 men, first 30 women, top 10 M40, top 10 M50, top 10 M60, top 10 W35, top 10, top 10 W45 and top 10 W55.
In each race, teams score three runners to count with the lowest total winning. 10 points are awarded for first down to 1pt for 10th.
If maximum points are achieved, the winning team would score 70 points, winning individual 120 points and winning vets 40 points.
Errors cannot be rectified after the awarding of prizes at the Cambs AA presentation in evening in Nov/Dec.
Clubs: where your athletes are listed in results as unattached (due to Run Britain/UKA rules), please inform us and we will make changes for Cambs RL standings.
Prizes – individual 1st £30, 2nd £20, 3rd £15, Vets 1st £15, Teams 1st £45 (3x£15) – for members with overall highest position in overall league

To qualify for Cambs AA championships, athletes must be resident or born in Cambridgeshire and not have competed in any other counties championships in the competition year.
